What I liked

This was my first experience in the corporate world, so I enjoyed learning about how the ambiance is like. I liked learning how each department integrated with one another, in addition to seeing how problems were dealt and how they even came about. Working here taught me that there is no need to feel nervous about working in the corporate world as people are still cordial.

What I wish was different

Towards the latter half of my internship, I had a new mentor. While I did learn other new experiences from him, I attended less in person meetings. I wish that I could have still attended those meetings, since it showed me how companies interact with customers.

Advice

Working in the corporate world may seem intimidating, but if you ask people questions, it will make them realize that you are interested, thus causing them to like you. Be friendly and ask questions as this would help you learn more and make the best out of the internship.
