What i liked about working at amazon fulfillment center was the people I was working with, my managers, the task, the hours, and the pay. So Yes, everything!
What I wish was different
Everything is fine the way it is in my opinion
Advice
This job requires you to get lots of sleep, eat lots of food, and just take care of your body all around. Many say it’s a hard job and you get worked like a slave but everyone should know how far is too far. I loved it and hopefully I can go back one day

What I liked
It was a high energy, busy, competitive environment. It gave me knowledge about the grassroots of a large organization.
What I wish was different
I wish it had more to do with my career but it was the summer after freshman year so it’s not necessary to already have an internship for then.
Advice
Although manual labor, it’s humbling to see how hard others have to work to get the job you want done.

I was working with some high school friends and all my new coworkers were around my age or older.
What I wish was different

Advice
Do not take VTO (voluntary time off) unless you absolutely need to. You can, but then your pay won’t be as good as it could be.

July - September 2019 • Rialto, CA
What I liked
The sense of community at LGB7 and the feeling of making a difference in people’s lives was the most fulfilling part of working for Amazon. I had se really great co workers, and especially our back-half night management team. Joanna, Reggie, and Jessica were the best!
What I wish was different
I wish there was more lenience with the school accommodations. Or at least part-time positions available because I would like to continue working there while in school.
Advice
This job is for anyone, period. If you prefer more focused, independent work, this is great for you. This is also a great job if you enjoy a fast paced environment while communicating with many other people at once. Working towards a common goal felt real at LGB7

May - August 2019 • Sewickley, PA
What I liked
The ability to work early in the morning for a short amount of time, leaving me time to do other things throughout the day. The people I worked with were very nice, and made my time working at Amazon very fun.
What I wish was different
When requesting days off at least 2 weeks in advance, I still received attendance points for missing a shift. I wish the ability to contact HR and the availability of HR at my specific warehouse was much easier.
Advice
This job wasn't easy in no way, it requires constant movement and the ability to lift some pretty heavy packages. Working at a warehouse that is fulfilling deliveries and me being a part of that experience, makes you want to work harder to make sure that you're making the drivers jobs easier.
