What I liked

The work is near Davis and doesn't involve me commuting to the Bay. The people are friendly and you get to learn GMP and analytical instrumentation.

What I wish was different

All employees start through a temp agency, so make sure you get a minimum of $21/hr from the agency. I didn't do this and now I'm stuck making less because I didn't know. Otherwise, the work is good and you'll learn a lot while you work here. Its definitely worth applying if you plan on staying in the Sacramento area.

Advice

Always be vocal about what you need and make sure you make friends even if you aren't planning on staying with the company long. Go above and beyond the expectations of the work when it involves instrumentation. You can learn a lot while you get your work done but it isn't require. Having the extra knowledge will be beneficial in future jobs or even just advancing in the company.
