If you have the ability to be a waitress, do it. Its a lot of fun and you make good money.

What I liked
I was able to get hired quickly and the training process was quick and efficient. It was also close to my home, which was great for me. The hours were exactly what I wanted and they were okay with me being there seasonally.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have worked there longer because I was able to receive an offer of a management position, but I was unable to accept because I had to return to school.
Advice
If you are looking for a job where you can get 40 hours per week in the summer and make good money, Applebee's was perfect for me.

The employers are awesome! My coworkers are great! I also did my internship with them, I potentially want to go into restaurant management.

I wish the hours weren’t so long, but I am able to take time off in return.

Be outgoing! If you aren’t then maybe it isn’t the job for you.
