My team was always looking out for me and made sure I had the right understanding going into any work assignment. The work was always demanding, but interesting and engaging. All my work was used on active deals so I never felt like I was wasting my time. Overall, it was a great experience and somewhere that I can see myself for a long time.
What I wish was different
The only the I wish had been different was the hours. But going into any field of investment banking, that is what's expected so I really don't mind.
Advice
Come into work every day with the expectation and mindset of learning as much as you can. And it's always quality over quantity, even though it might be hard to see it that way sometimes.
