“I enjoyed being able to work toward a cause that I believe in. At the time we were canvassing for our right to clean water in Connecticut which was being threatened. This job allowed me to strengthen my communication skills through my interactions with people going door to door. I had to practice being knowledgeable and quick on my feet to be able to address the issue while still holding the persons attention, then also answering any questions they may have had.”
