Very nice and patient, always helped me to learn and provided a stress free environment.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more time to be there, but I was taking classes so I was unable to be there all day
Advice
I would recommend students spend their summers productivity in order to increase the likelihood of getting a job after graduation.

What I liked
I loved getting to experience working in a hospital. Even though I was doing research I was among doctors and nurses everyday and the culture was super cool. My boss was a great mentor and I learned so much from him. All of the researchers in Lerner help each other out and collaborate throughout the day even though they busy working on their own projects.
What I wish was different
I wish i was able to stay for longer so that I could continue the project I was working on.
Advice
You can truly do anything you set your mind do. At the beginning of my time there I was pretty nervous that the tasks given to me would be too difficult, but I worked my way through everything and actually surprised myself.

Research Assistant

What I liked
I got hands on experience as to what it's like researching tinnitus and hyperacusis in a neuroscience lab.
What I wish was different
I wish the commute to work had been shorter- it was an hour each way.
Advice
I would encourage them to apply for labs at the Cleveland Clinic. While they are there, they should also make sure to try and see surgeries and take any opportunities available within the hospital.
