About Community Impact Corps- Georgia State University

The Community Impact Corps is a federal work study program run by the Office of Student Civic Engagement. Corps members MAKE AN IMPACT in the Atlanta and Metro Atlanta communities through work at a non-profit agency. Students from all GSU campuses are encouraged to apply!

CIC members work at a non-profit agency based on their interests and schedule, and work for that agency 10-20 hours per week. CIC members spend one hour weekly in paid training with their cohort. All CORPS positions are posted on Handshake.

CIC members are paid for their work through community federal work study, at the rate of $12 an hour.

Members must be eligible for Federal Work Study and be enrolled as a full time student.
