I love aviation and aerospace and this internship was perfect for that. They let you go and work with any department you want, not just your main internship. It was a program with many other interns in other departments and they organized many events for us to attend to! The staff was super welcoming and we got to tour all over the airport.
What I wish was different
Advice
I learned a lot about how to act in the workforce. I went in believing that I knew proper behavior and how to handle situations, but it’s actually very different from what I expected and requires a change of attitude. I had to learn how to separate professional from personal and at times it was challenging, but I feel way more confident in my ability as a working professional and I know that I can carry those lessons with me wherever I go. This internship was really awesome.
