Ivy's Simply Homemade is still to this day the best job I have ever had. I was able to work there for two summers and had the experience of working both in the store as well as catering events (which I mostly did for weddings and large events). The entire team is professional and runs like a well oiled machine. Ivy was able to help me go from basic kitchen knowledge to a full fledged BOH employee. Their attention to detail within their menus is impeccable and they definitely hold themselves to a high standard that has helped me in every job I have held ever since.
What I wish was different
Nothing. The entire experience was beyond perfect.
Advice
Do not come to this internship if you are ready to put your all into working there. Ivy's upholds a 5/5 star review on wedding wire and caters to very high end events within South East CT, so they expect the best out of all of their employees.
