Jordan School District teachers are transforming lives everyday by inspiring their students to learn and grow in every possible way. We serve more than 52,000 students in 68 schools with one of the fastest growing populations in the country.

Jordan School District is home to four different types of schools. Our elementary schools educate children from Kindergarten through 6th grade and operate on traditional calendars. Middle schools provide classes for grades 7-9, with a 4-quarter, 7-period schedule. High and technical schools are focused on grades 10-12 with a 4-quarter, 8-period AB block schedule. Special schools serve our students with varying special needs.

UTAH STATE RETIREMENT
Benefit eligible employees are automatically members of the Utah Retirement Systems (URS). This means that the District contributes into the URS plan on your behalf each month. After the URS vesting period of four years, you will have either the Hybrid option, which is a combination of a pension with a 401k plan, or the 401k option if you choose. Both plans are employer-paid. You can also choose to enhance your retirement with URS by contributing additional money from your paychecks into a 401k, 457, Traditional IRA, or Roth IRA.
