I liked the opportunities that came with this job, such as spending an entire month in England and Italy.
What I wish was different
I wish that my schedule had been more set. Because I was a live in personal assistant and didn’t necessarily have a set start or finish time it was like I was constantly on the clock even on the weekends and at night although I was only paid for a 40 hour work week. Next summer I am going to vocalize my desire for a more steady set of hours.
Advice
Take risks and learn how to ask for what you want instead of just keeping it to yourself. I got this job because I made my employment desires vocal and because of that I have travel opportunities, great pay, and amazing bosses.
