The Poverello Center, Inc. provides nutritious food, health services, and basic living essentials with the highest degree of understanding, respect, and love for individuals living with critical and chronic illnesses including HIV, in South Florida. We focus on the needs of people with chronic conditions, but those needs include issues of poverty, discrimination, racism, inequity and access. Our extra efforts and additional funding for programming focuses on people who aren't benefitting from traditional forms of care. Ensuring people who are left out, are brought into a more respectful, dignified form of care that erases health disparities is one of our major goals.
