What I liked

Such a fun and amazing opportunity. Had the chance to try places on campus and be paid and then reimbursed. Was able to give real in person feedback to better the restaurants on campus.

What I wish was different

Ongoing opportunity and not cancelled.

Advice

I didn’t expect to get this opportunity but applied anyways and got it. Always try because you never know what you will get.

What I liked

I have very understanding supervisors and a flexible schedule that worked with my classes. I have gained a lot of customer service experience, as well as leadership experience. I have also made many valuable connections with people who will be able to write me recommendations when I need

What I wish was different

UCF does not really pay its students well, and they are very stingy about giving raises. I work a lot, and I do a lot for our office. Nevertheless, I am getting paid minimum wage. I do not get paid enough for the workload I have been given.

Advice

Working on campus is a very fun experience! I have met many people, gotten to see behind the scenes of UCF, and am able to work on homework during my free time. However, if money is the main reason you need a job, I would not suggest working on campus!
