“I loved who I worked with and all the different things I was allowed to help out with. My job wasn't confined to just milking, I could help with the calves, field work, machinery work, pretty much anything and everything under the sun. I never got bored.”

“I was given a lot of autonomy at work, tasks were given to me and it was usually up to me to figure out how to execute them, which tested and increased my problem solving skills. A lot of days were spent working outside, which was a fantastic change of pace from sitting in classrooms all day during the previous semester. I was able to conduct unique research with Dr. Dennis Busch which will help make a positive impact on farming in the Midwest.”
