It was a great opportunity for me to explore biomedical research. I worked in a great lab, had my own project and I was able to schedule my own experiments and be really independent in my work.
What I wish was different
I really liked it, I couldn't think of anything better.
Advice
Be open to learning, and don't be afraid to ask questions and/or offer your opinions. This is how you learn the most, and you eventually become a bold thinker

What I liked
What I like most about the internship was traveling to a new city and getting a chance to meet and connect with other black students. Although, they was their for different reasons we was all able to connect on one level and become life long friends.
