Entry-Level Graphic Designer – Footwear (Men’s, Women’s & Kids)
Location: NYC - garment district
About the Role:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our footwear design team. This entry-level position is perfect for someone passionate about fashion, branding, and visual storytelling, especially in the dynamic world of men’s, women’s, and kids’ footwear. The ideal candidate will assist in creating compelling visual assets and collaborate across departments to ensure brand consistency across all collections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing graphics, logos, patterns, packaging, hangtags, and branding for men’s, women’s, and kids’ footwear lines
- Support product mock-ups, tech packs, and presentation boards for seasonal collections
- Coordinate with the design, marketing, and sourcing teams to align visual content with brand identity and product timelines
- Prepare print-ready and digital assets for catalogs, e-commerce, and sales presentations
- Organize and maintain an asset library of brand logos, trims, packaging, and previous season artwork
- Participate in trend research and competitive analysis to support new product direction
- Help manage sample tracking and updates related to graphic elements and branding execution
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); experience with CAD a plus
- Strong eye for typography, color, and branding aesthetics
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in fashion, footwear, or consumer product design
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
- Internship or portfolio work in fashion, footwear, or consumer branding
- Familiarity with retail trends and branding across different age/gender segments
