Band Manager for NYC-based band Sauce City
Location: NYC (remote-friendly, but ideally based in or near New York)
We’re Sauce City, a soulful rock band that’s been playing together for the past 3 years. We’ve climbed the ranks of NYC venues, from Brooklyn Bowl and Baby’s All Right to Mercury Lounge and Littlefield, and we’re ready to take our music beyond NYC. We’ve also released 6 singles on all major streaming platforms and are currently recording an EP.
We’re looking for someone to join our team who can help us book festivals, tours, and shows outside of NYC - someone who believes in what we’re building, loves live music, and has the drive to help us grow.
What you’d do
- Booking festivals, tours, and shows (especially outside NYC)
- Building and maintaining relationships with venues, bookers, and promoters
- Organizing logistics for tours, gigs, and releases
- Identifying growth opportunities - new markets, collaborations, and partnerships
- Exploring sync licensing opportunities
Who You Are
- Passionate about live music (and love our sound!)
- Believe in our band’s potential and want to be part of our next chapter
- Have some experience or credentials in artist management, booking, or the music industry - doesn’t have to be extensive, but you know how things work
- Resourceful, gritty, and great at building connections
- Ideally already connected with venues, festivals, or booking contacts
- Proactive and good at getting things moving
Compensation
Structured as a percentage of show and festival earnings (details to be discussed).
