Social Media Video Editor
Wolf Studios is one of NYC’s leading Artist Development Studios, founded by internationally-recognized Voice and Performance Coach, Kurt Wolf. The studio offers onsite and online individual and group classes and is developing a robust e-learning offering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit short-form video content for Wolf Studios NYC’s social media channels.
- Apply consistent color grading, transitions, titling, and pacing that reflect the Wolf Studios aesthetic and branding.
- Organize, cut, and assemble footage into polished final videos.
- Collaborate with our founder and social media manager on content concepts, formats, and delivery.
- Ensure all videos meet platform-specific technical specs and quality standards.
- Maintain organized project files and adhere to deadlines.
Hours/Schedule:
10-15 hours per week with flexibility. There will be evening and weekend scheduling considerations on an ad hoc basis, depending on project needs and studio requirements.
Compensation:
$200 per week
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (must have your own access and working setup)
- Basic understanding of editing workflows, storytelling, and visual rhythm
- Familiarity with social media formats (Reels, Shorts, TikToks)
- A strong eye for color, typography, composition, and sound design
- Portfolio of edited video content (required)
- Experience with captioning
- Understanding of audio syncing and basic sound design
- Interest in music, performance, or artist branding (optional)
- NYC-based and able to commute to our Prospect Heights studio 1–2 times per week
- Available to start immediately and commit to a 5-6 month period
