Music Publishing Administrative Assistant

Leading independent music publisher Regalias Digitales is currently hiring for an entry level Music Publishing Administrative Assistant position. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree and have completed at least one internship in the music industry.

 

The position will be responsible for supporting staff and assisting with the administration of client songs at major performing and mechanical rights societies including ASCAP, BMI, The MLC and YouTube, as well as liaising with songwriter and music publisher clients on a regular basis.  Strong self-organization and written communication skills are a must. Spanish fluency is preferred, but not required. The candidate must be passionate about working in the music industry and eager to learn new processes.

 

Candidates must be intimately familiar with Google Drive, Google Docs, Excel and use of the Gmail and YouTube platforms. Applicants MUST also be fully vaccinated.  The candidate MUST BE BASED IN THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA and able to be physically present in the Lafayette office. Health insurance is provided after three months of successful employment. Additional benefits include participation in the company pension plan (after one year of employment) and the opportunity to work at a well-established and respected music publisher.
