If you're still reading, COOL STORY is looking for a content creator intern to help us establish dominance on the internet. 

Content Creator Intern

This internship will provide students with an exposure to the business of creativity. You will learn how to think both creatively and strategically as you assist in the production of social content for our clients as well as create your own for our social channels. 

The goal for this internship will to give you a crash course on content creation, as well as how it applies to brands advertising + marketing efforts. 

Duration: This is a summer-long internship with the opportunity to extend for the right person.

Responsibilities include:

● Coming up with ideas for videos.

● Filming + editing those videos.

● Assisting on local productions.

● Studying current trends and applying them to content ideas.

● Experiencing life.

Qualities or skills desired: 

● Borderline obsessive (yet not entirely toxic) desire to create things that people enjoy watching. 

● Strong communication skills.

● A deep-seeded curiosity.

● Experience shooting + editing video for Instagram, TikTok or YouTube.

● Comfort being on-camera and filming in public places.

● Passion for pop-culture and a desire to disrupt it. 
 

About COOL STORY 

COOL STORY (cool-story.co) is an award-winning content agency operating at the intersection of advertising and entertainment. We specialize in creating original, short-form video content for brands' owned-media channels (YouTube, IG, TikTok, etc.) The COOL STORY team is currently made up of two full time employee and a creative collective of over 10+ team members and contract-based support staff.

Location - ON SITE

COOL STORY is based in Minneapolis,. This is an in-person role requiring four days per week onsite at our downtown office. Candidates must be located in or able to reliably commute to the Twin Cities. Productions may occasionally take place at additional locations outside of the metro-area. Travel will be reimbursed for those shoots.

Record a short video -- 60 seconds or less -- that makes us laugh, think, or feel something. That's it. No brief. No rules. Just show us how your brain works and who you are as a person.

Need a starting point? Try a fake commercial for a brand you love (or hate), a bit about something you find genuinely funny, or just something simple that made you smile recently. If you're stuck, scroll TikTok until something makes you laugh - then make your version of that.
