Social Media Videographer and Marketer

Kaage Homes is a real estate and design-build firm based on Chicago’s North Shore. We help clients buy, design, and build homes that are not only beautiful, but strategic investments.

We’re building a media-driven brand — sharing real projects, real decisions, and behind-the-scenes access to how homes are designed, built, and sold.

The Role

We’re looking for a social media videographer + content marketer who can take ownership of our content from idea → execution → publishing.

This is not just a filming role.
We need someone who can think, shoot, edit, and distribute content that builds our brand and drives business.

What You’ll Do

Content Strategy & Ideation

  • Propose weekly content ideas aligned with our projects, listings, and brand
  • Identify trends and translate them into our voice (Instagram, YouTube, etc.)

Filming (On-Site)

  • Film 1+ day per week on location (homes, showroom, job sites)
  • Capture both long-form and short-form footage
  • Direct light structure during filming (what to say, how to frame, etc.)

Editing & Production

  • Edit long-form YouTube videos (5–15 min range)
  • Cut short-form content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
  • Add captions, pacing, music, and polish aligned with a luxury brand

Publishing & Distribution

  • Upload and optimize content across platforms (YouTube, Instagram, etc.)
  • Write captions, titles, and basic descriptions
  • Maintain a consistent posting schedule

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong video shooting and editing skills (iPhone or camera — both fine)
  • Proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or CapCut
  • Understanding of social media content (what performs and why)
  • Ability to take initiative and bring ideas — not wait for direction
  • Organized, reliable, and able to manage timelines independently
  • Interest in real estate, design, or architecture is a plus

Bonus If You Have

  • Experience growing or managing a social media account
  • YouTube editing experience (storytelling, retention, thumbnails, etc.)
  • Eye for design / aesthetics

Compensation

  • Hourly or project-based (based on experience)
  • Opportunity for long-term role as we scale content and brand
