Videography Intern - Paid Summer Internship Opportunity

Insight Editions, an award-winning independent book publisher and 
entertainment company, is offering an exciting summer internship opportunity. We are currently looking for a paid Videography Intern who will gain hands-on experience working at a design-led company and supporting the marketing of high-end, meticulously crafted products.

The Videography Intern role will focus on supporting video content creation across marketing, social media, and brand storytelling initiatives.

Internship Highlights:
• Assist with filming and editing video content for book promotions
• Collaborate creatively with marketing and editorial teams
• Gain experience in visual storytelling within the publishing industry
• Paid Internship at $16.90/hr

Internship Responsibilities:
• Create both short video clips (20 seconds) optimized for platforms like Amazon, as well as longer promotional videos highlighting book features, set to music.
• Film and produce candid behind-the-scenes videos and photography to 
authentically showcase our team, creative process, and collaborations with staff, creators, authors, and brand partners.
• Edit external video content provided by authors and collaborators.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure all visual content aligns with brand standards and marketing goals.
• Maintain organization and manage deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously.

Candidate Requirements – Experience can be gained from an Academic or 
Professional Setting:
• Experience in photography and videography and an eagerness to grow skills in a supportive professional setting
• Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and creative vision for compelling visuals.
• Must be able to commute to the San Rafael Office
