Location: New York City (On-site, Full-Time- 1 Day/week Remote)

ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for a full-time Assistant Fashion Designer to join our NYC office. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to grow their career alongside an experienced team in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Design Team in researching fashion trends, colors, fabrics, and silhouettes
• Assist with CADs, flat sketches, and tech packs using Illustrator
• Organize and prepare materials for client presentations and internal design meetings
• Help with seasonal mood boards and concept development
• Coordinate with the production and sourcing teams to track fabric samples and trims
• Attend fit sessions and take notes as needed
• Assist in reviewing lab dips and maintaining fabric libraries
• Maintain and update line sheets and design documentation
• Provide administrative support including file management and general studio organization
• Perform other design-related tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or a related field
• 5+ years of fashion industry experience (internships included)
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong sense of fashion trends, color, and fabrication
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
• Able to work well in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment
• Passionate about activewear and athleisure markets

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Starting pay: $60k+/year, based on experience

Job Qualifications

Requirements:
AA, AS or bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, OR Students Graduating in 2021 or 2022
At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience in the Fashion Industry.
Meticulous regarding details, punctuality & time management.
Computer experience with the knowledge of Word, Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator, or any other program relating to the industry.
Follow direction well but also works well with little to no supervision.
