Fashion Assistant

Job description

Schutz USA is looking to hire a Fashion Assistant that is interested in trend research and innovation. Great opportunity to understand how a vertical fashion forward footwear brand operates and learn the process of product development from concept to consumer.

Responsibilities include:

•Assist in interpreting the brand’s direction for product, visual, and training

•Participate in trend research and creation of presentation for collection development

•Building training materials to educate sales teams on policies and procedures as it relates to product

•Research current fashion trends with bimonthly market research: in person and web

•Building general product knowledge materials for client facing departments

•Support wholesale with training materials seasonally

•Develop engaging content based on business needs: trainings, fashion newsletters, and communication

•Visual merchandising support for retail locations in the U.S. Including New York and  Miami 

•Source visual merchandising props and in store materials 

•Update digital photo presentations for visual merchandising maintenance purposes as changes are made

•Support the creation of collection campaigns

•Sample coordination
