Social Worker Supervisor- TST-FS

Overview:

The Trauma Systems Therapy  (TST) and  Family Assessment Program/Family Stabilization (FS) Social Work Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the provision of services, oversight of administrative processes, and supervision of staff in the TST and FS programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

  • Provide individual and group supervision to clinical staff in their treatment of children (ages 12-18) and their families, including accompanying staff in the field as needed, and assisting with crises.

  • Facilitate Elevated Risk Conferences and Service Termination Conferences with families in TST.

  • Facilitate formal mediation sessions when needed in FS.

  • Facilitate weekly TST Consultations with the TST Treatment Team.

  • Participate in bi-weekly clinical meetings and trainings and weekly administrative meetings.

  • Attend bi-monthly provider meetings for TST and FS programs.

  • Monitor utilization, intake and closings of both TST and FS programs.

  • Maintain all data systems of the Jewish Board (Dayforce, Alltrac, MyAvatar, etc.) for staff and clients.

  • Maintain clear and concise documentation in CNNX case record, including monthly supervisory notes.

  • Enter and review data in PROMIS; compete monthly data reports for FAP and TST stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with ACS, FAP and community services providers.

  • Provide coverage for therapists during absences.

  • Other duties, as assigned.

    EDUCATIONAL

    Job Requirements

    Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or a related field. LMSW required, LCSW preferred.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work a flexible schedule; family-centered, strength based approach to working with families, children and teens in crisis. Some knowledge of family assessment and interventions is needed.  Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
 
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE:  Family systems theory and application, Structural Family Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, CBT, Trauma-informed care.
 
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:  Home based, community based interventions with families, teens and children. Experience with Preventive Services, FAP services, Juvenile Justice, child welfare, and at risk youth preferred.
