Social Media Internship

Sky 3 Entertainment is an independent company based in Nashville, TN offering an unpaid internships, remote or in-person, for academic credit. (Non credit option available). We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is interested in gaining experience in the entertainment business to assist us in promoting our modern country artist. An internship with Sky 3 Entertainment will offer students an opportunity to obtain real-world, hands on experience in the industry. Our internships provide on-the-job experience. Each intern is assigned special projects that will assist in learning how the music and entertainment business operates. Sky 3 Entertainment values its interns will strive to ensure your work with us is a mutually rewarding experience. Out of the area students are welcome to apply, as this position is remote. (This is an unpaid position.)

Responsibilities may include:

-Designing digital images, flyers, banners, posters, etc. for promo and posting on social media sites and websites.

-Create social media images for posting specific events

-Coordinate calendar to create event images/video in a timely manner

-Handle requests for other specific graphic images or video editing as needed for events, social media posts or other projects.

-Make additions, updates, changes to website to enhance branding and exposure. (Optional for those who meet the qualifications)

- Option to assist with booking and tour team.

Please keep in mind that this internship is unpaid. To qualify for an internship with us you must meet the following criteria:

-Be willing to commit 10-15 hours per week, 4-5 days per week, 2-hr per day to Sky 3 Entertainment for a minimum of 3 months. Students is able to receive academic credit for this unpaid learning opportunity. 

-Be familiar with  Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Canva  

-Ability to edit and produce videos for online portals, social media posts, live events, blog sites, and more.

-Experience with color correction, sound editing, text editing and graphic design in videos 

-Familiar with creating designs and making website edits for Content Management Systems, like WordPress (Optional)

-Video editing

-Be willing to commit 10-15 hours per week to Sky 3 Entertainment for a minimum of 3 months, 4-5 days per week, 2-hr minimum per work day..

-Be flexible and versatile; have computer and internet access and be available by phone & email

-Possess knowledge of Google Docs, Calendars, and spreadsheets                  

-Have knowledge of MS Office programs

-Be Internet and Social Media proficient (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) 

-Need outgoing personality and a positive attitude 

-Must be capable of working autonomously, and in non-typical work environments 

-Be willing to learn and take on more responsibilities 

-Possess outstanding time management skills 

-Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills 

-Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and accurate
