Engineer and Scientist
SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific (SSC PAC) is the Navy’s premier research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) laboratory for command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (C4ISR), and all Navy navigation systems. Our mission and corporate vision focus on bringing integrated C4ISR solutions to the warfighter. Our work ranges from basic research and prototype development through systems engineering and integration to life-cycle support of fielded systems. Major programmatic and technical forces are directed toward merging advanced technology and systems into integrated C4ISR capabilities, primarily supporting joint C4ISR needs of the military.
Additional information about the SSC Pacific New Professional Program (NP) is available on our homepage at http://www.spawar.navy.mil/sandiego/np

Through rotational assignments, formal training opportunities and on the job training, you will have the opportunity to experience various types of work related to your background and interests.
Candidates must have experience in research and development, proposals, publications and patents, strong communication skills, interest in working in an interdisciplinary environment, and be ready to act as principal investigator for related projects.
