Don’t take advice as someone beating you down. They give advice because they’re trying to help you succeed in the long run.

Software Developer Intern

June 2019 • South Bend, IN

What I liked

I liked how friendly the people were and how happy they were to have me. Right from the start they all mad me feel included and like I belonged there. Everybody was always ready to help me whenever and with whatever I needed.

What I wish was different

With any place you work, it takes a while to get used to other language and products that each different company offers and maintains. I wish that there could’ve been a way for me to learn the products faster so that I could’ve been a better asset earlier in my experience.

Advice

Don’t be afraid to ask for help. You’re going to need it and sitting there struggling for multiple hours isn’t helping anyone. Try your best and if you get stuck on a singular problem for more than 30 minutes ask someone for help. They’re always willing to offer advice and assistance.
