Real experience. I was working at a company 40 hours/week with people who have been working there for years. This showed me what life is going to be like when I graduate. I got to meet people and do real work. I wasn't photocopying papers.
What I wish was different
Some of the work I did was not what I want to do as a career, but that was more my fault than anyone else's.
Advice
Do your best when you're interning. Make connections and try to have this experience help you figure out what you want to do with your life.
