The Academic Success and Career Center Staff are very kind, and care about you as a person. They want to help you when you need it, and check in on you to make sure that you are succeeding academically, and professionally. The working environment is very professional, but it also feels like a big family. Work does not feel like work when you enjoy working in such a warm supportive environment.
What I wish was different
I would not change anything about my experience working at the ASCC. I loved coming in to work, and I loved working on my projects, and helping make a difference in student's lives.
Advice
My one piece of advice would be to not be afraid to fail. I learned more when I failed, than when I succeeded.

What I liked
I liked the opportunity to better help my classmates and the ability to work alongside staff who really helped me learn professional communication in the work place. I got a lot of experience with event planning, working with two career expos from the planning phase all the way through to the event itself.
