Android Developer Intern

What I liked

The Accolade internship was incredible. Not only was the work interesting, challenging, and educational, the events through the summer were great. BBQs, whale watching, and attending a Seahawks game were just a few of the events that took place during the short 10-week internship. The team I worked with has some of the most dedicated, passionate people I have ever met. The code quality is also excellent, with rigorous (and helpful!) code review processes.

What I wish was different

I wish I could have been there longer! Near the end of the internship, I had to work quickly to wrap up some of the projects I had been working on.

Advice

Get to know the other interns even if they are in other teams. In 2019 the interns were mostly in the same corner so we became great friends.

Advice

Definitely a fast pace environment so it’s important to make sure that you stay on top of your work. Additionally, take advantage of networking! This company promotes setting up coffee chats with employees from all units of the company
