What I liked

Being a Project Intern at Adelphi Research this summer was a great learning experience. As an intern, you are exposed to both sides of market research, qualitative and quantitative, which allows you to work on tasks from all types of studies. I was fully exposed to each step of a project, from a client's proposal to the final analysis.

What I wish was different

Nothing!

Advice

Be open to taking on new tasks that you have never done before - don't be afraid to ask to try new things!

What I liked

The office atmosphere is very friendly and flexible, so I never had any issues asking to sit in on meetings, or questions about my tasks or anything along the project timeline.

What I wish was different

If there were more check-ins with my manager it would've been easier to project what my given work would be in a given week.

Advice

Definitely be inquisitive, because everyone is available to help, and you're there to learn.

I really loved this hands on experience. I got to work within different projects. I enjoyed being able to analyze data for different types of research being done.
