Alcyone Therapeutics is mission-driven to overcome the challenges in central nervous system (CNS) disease therapy development through applying precision CNS delivery & dosing technologies to novel gene therapy drugs. We are an early stage medical device-pharmaceutical company (<50 full-time employees) with offices located in Boston, MA and Moscow, ID. We are seeking a co-op student to join our team at the Moscow, ID office where we currently have 8 full-time employees.
Precise and optimal delivery has a profound impact on both efficacy and safety of gene therapy. Alcyone has developed a transformational CNS delivery technology platform that provides control of biodistribution to the targets of interest. This has the potential to move the field by impacting safety, efficacy and potentially the amount of vectors needed for an effective therapy. The Moscow, ID team is involved in early stage research and development for these therapies that involves multidisciplinary engineering interfaced with biology and medicine.
