What I liked

The work environment is mostly laid back, and the colleagues/supervisors are very helpful in getting to know everything needed for the job.

What I wish was different

The hours are sometimes difficult as they are split 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am shifts. Getting put on the night shift is never fun and even the afternoon shift leaves you with little free time in the evenings.

Advice

When you get an internship, you have to be actively trying to learn new things. It is not always the case that you will be fed information, and you could just stick with knowing the bare minimum. It is always a good idea to learn on the job because those are the skills you can take with you to other opportunities and career paths.
