All Season Apparel

Social Media Specialist (TikTok)

January - April 2024 • Knoxville, TN

What I liked

I enjoyed the creative freedom and real-world experience that came along with this role. The ability to create not only content but also merchandise was an amazing experience and allowed me to try new things that I otherwise may have never had the chance to do. This experience has been wonderful and I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the advertising, marketing, or graphic design field.

What I wish was different

Making schedules and calendars may improve efficiency within the brand, as many of the interns are full-time students with various commitments. Overall, staying task-focused and oriented helps to organize items.

Advice

Be open to new things! This role has definitely taught me how to be open to new experiences, ideas, and opinions. Making sure you have an open and willing mindset will help you throughout the role.

Marketing Specialist (Instagram and TikTok)

January - April 2024 • San Diego, CA

What I liked

I liked that I was able to have a lot of creative freedom when it came to my individual projects, along with running Instagram stories and being a part of the TikTok team. It was really awesome to work and collaborate with others as well, expanding my ideas and being open to new ones. It was very easy to implement my tasks into my weeks, as it did not feel like a job. This internship incorporated a lot of my hobbies (content creation, merch design, etc.) into the projects I completed.

What I wish was different

As much as I liked this internship being remote, I wish I could have met the other members of the team in person. We got along well throughout the internship and had a lot of good ideas we came up with together, so it would have been great for face to face interactions if we did not live in different parts of the country. Although, it was really cool to see how other students at their colleges created their content or designs.

Advice

I would focus on the importance of planning and creating a schedule for yourself, especially to get the most out of the time you have working with the team. Everyone is very open to ideas and creative directions, so make sure you have goals set for what you want to achieve.

Marketing Specialist (Instagram)

August - November 2023 • Auburn, AL

What I liked

This internship provided an incredible opportunity filled with both fun and learning, where weekly tasks hardly felt like work. For example, I could often incorporate creating content in my daily schedule. This internship allowed creative freedom while also working towards overall goals. The structured approach to weekly tasks was also very helpful to distinguish what I needed to accomplish before the weekly meeting. The experience was filled with support from my other team members when new ideas were brought up and we all encouraged each other.

What I wish was different

I have no complaints for this internship, I would recommend it to anyone. Our team worked really well together so it would have been amazing to meet them in person. Some people had more experience creating content for brands than others but we all grew and learned together and ended up making friendships out it. We were all from very different places and it was super cool to see how people curated content to their school and I really wish we could have met and seen it first hand.

Advice

Planning ahead was super helpful for me. We had short and longterm goals within the internship for creating content and planning events, for example. So planning ahead with team members based on our weekly plans was necessary to achieve our goals as a team.

What I liked

I really like how much creative freedom I was allowed. I feel that I was able to make the content I wanted while receiving excellent constructive criticism from my team members. I never once felt judged. It was a very safe and comforting environment. My team came up with many creative ideas throughout the process and it was rewarding to see the impact we had made on the company during our time. I feel that I learned a lot about marketing, content creation, and the algorithms on social media from this experience.

What I wish was different

While I liked that this internship was remote, I would've loved to meet my fellow interns. I feel that we all connected well online and worked well together. I thought it was very cool how we connected through All Season from different parts of the country.

Marketing Specialist (Instagram)

August - November 2023 • Santa Barbara, CA

What I liked

I really liked how fun and chill the company culture is, it felt like whenever I would share ideas or collaborate with my other co-workers, we were never belittled by people in higher positions or who had more power. The entire internship team worked together to show off all of our creative sides and it helped make our Instagram and TikTok team more engaging. I also liked learning about marketing and content planning, and I'm super excited to use this experience in future internships and jobs.

What I wish was different

I wish we would have been able to meet up, all of my co-workers felt like they were just my friends, and we all grew and learned from this internship.

Advice

One piece of advice I would share about this experience is to always contribute and come out with any ideas, even if they do not end up working out, you should let out all of your creativity and use this opportunity of working for a start-up company to see most of your ideas become created to life.

Social Media Intern

June - August 2022 • New Orleans, LA

What I liked

I liked that the position gave me creative freedom when managing the Instagram. I really liked that we got to work on multiple project at a time, some with other interns and others alone. This helped me add to my portfolio and definitely helped sharpen my time-management and communication skills.

What I wish was different

This remote position was pretty for summertime, however I wish there was a chance to meet some of the team in- person if located in New Orleans.

Advice

I would advise a new intern to always stay active with the team group chat and stay in communication with team members on any new, fun ideas you may have. Make sure to be open to new things because although the brainstorming process is tough at first, a really cool project will come out of it when you all work together.
