Everyone was kind and welcoming. They cared about making sure I learned the things I wanted to learn about. My manager did a thorough teaching job, and even offered incentives such as pizza parties and bowling nights.
What I wish was different
I mostly got to learn and interact with one account manager. I think it would have been more interesting to share time with each account manager equally.
Advice
Interning at Allen Lund Company is a fun, educational, and insightful experience. I highly recommend Allen Lund Company if you want to learn about 3rd Party Logistics.

I liked building relationships with carriers. I liked negotiating freight rates. Making sales calls. Coworkers.

Closer to Atlanta or Suwanee.
Advice
Fun job! Negotiate your pay. Show up early so you are ready when the market opens at 8am.
