I love the flexibility to work around my school schedule. I am given many opportunities to move around even into different departments if I would like to. I am given projects which help to expand my knowledge on the projects and I get to work with many engineers.
What I wish was different
I like everything about my work, I think they nailed it with the responsibilities of the interns.

What I liked
Got to experience many different fields of engineering like software, hardware and project management. Was able to work on projects in those areas. Got to work on new cars from OEMs.
What I wish was different
Wish they gave me opportunities to grow and move to a position that pertained to my schooling, skills, and interest.
Advice
Be vocal and express your areas of interest. Don’t be afraid to learn from other engineers or ask to take on projects.

Marketing research and development

What I liked
I would recommend this office to other students. I had a great hands on experience while learning to navigate in a international office setting. Was allowed to conduct meetings with customers and with office staff.
What I wish was different
My supervisor left which put me in a compromising position. Also I wish I was allowed to work 40 hours during the summer.
Advice
Be ready to work with people who do not speak English as a first language. Be very organized and allow for time to balance school and work. Have a positive attitude at all times this goes a long way with those inside the company.
