I was really appreciative of AFG's flexibility with keeping my internship through the pandemic when so many others' positions were cancelled. They allowed me to work from home and continue to earn experience.
What I wish was different
Obviously it was out of their control, but I wish there had been some way to meet up even just a couple of times because most of the people I was contacting on a daily basis, I had never even met before.
Advice
For future students looking to go through this internship, I would recommend doing some research into the current tax laws going through the government and researching a little bit about what could impact the preparation of corporate tax returns.
