“I loved the people and atmosphere. I got very close to my team and thoroughly enjoyed working with them throughout my time there. The type of engineering the mechanical engineers perform was unfortunately not aligned with my interests. The emphasis is more on CAD work and soft design than hardcore analytical design. However, I learned a lot about important design principles, processes, and mechanical basics like deciding what hardware/material/manufacturing process to use for certain applications. I was able to work with assembly teams and help assemble machines and I found that to be a very enjoyable and instructional experience as well as working with my engineering team and the technical documentation team. ”
