I loved the hands on experience of a smaller marketing firm. Less coffee runs, more real world work!
What I wish was different
I wish there was more to do, sometimes my managers would forget to give me anything to do and I would be bored sometimes looking for something to help with!
Advice
Just because a company doesn’t have a huge name doesn’t mean it isn’t worth working for it! Sometimes smaller companies offer a lot better experience.

Copywriting Intern
June 2018 • Boston, MA
What I liked
Honestly, I like everything about this internship. I write and learn a lot, do hands-on work, actually get to see the things I create out in the world, and - most importantly - get to work with the best group of people ever.
What I wish was different
The only thing I can think to say here is that I wish I could have been more confident from the get-go, but I've since worked to build my confidence in my ideas and my work, and as a result have continued to garner greater responsibility at this internship.
Advice
Always talk to people, and don't be afraid. Whether it's asking questions, spitballing ideas, or asking for more responsibility, just go for it.
