Wildlife Admin Intern

What I liked

- working with great people who are very experienced in the wildlife field - variety of animals and situations (medical cases) you can work with - able to expand skills and knowledge - able to get hands-on animal handling experience with a variety of raptors, mammals, and reptiles

- wish I had applied for the clinical intern position

What I liked

I loved being able to care for local wildlife and learn about their needs. I loved being able to help different kinds of animals! My appreciation and love for wildlife grew immensely because of this!

What I wish was different

I wish I knew what animals I would be working with on a given day before I came in.

Advice

This was an awesome opportunity to gain animal experience! Be prepared to get dirty but you will have an amazing time caring for wildlife.
