What I liked

What I wish was different

I wish that I'd received a bit more mentor-ship/guidance during the last half of my internship.

Purchasing Intern

May 2019 • Racine, WI

What I liked

I very much enjoyed the chance to make a difference and showcase my skills gained from UWM. In my second month there, I was tasked with replacing a full time buyer who was away on medical leave. In my time before that at Andis, I was able to gain their trust for such an important position along with working on other projects at the same time.

What I wish was different

I don't wish for anything different as my time at Andis as an intern has given me plenty of opportunities it to grow my skills. Along with developing my skills I recieved a job offer for after graduation which has been a huge relief for myself.

Advice

I was able to do so many things many places don't offer to other interns. It truly helped me gain confidence in myself and my abilities.
