I enjoyed improving my research skills. I also really liked hearing the "inside scoop" of an event and how it was being dealt with prior to the public.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have interned more than two days a week.
Advice
Be prepared to do a lot of research- some days will be VERY eventful, and others will feel really slow-moving.
