The people were amazing, and the opportunity to make a real contribution to science was fantastic!
What I wish was different
Mostly just more time in the internship would have been nice. It was weird to have to leave everything when school started again.
Advice
Find an opportunity to do what you want, and chase it. I got this internship by directly contacting the professor in charge of the lab, and asking him about his research. Don't wait for a chance to drift by, go and maker it happen!
