I enjoyed explaining about the creatures that live in the aquariums to guests and I also get to learn new facts about the animals.
What I wish was different
I think that things are alright as they are.
Advice
Arrive on time so that the other volunteers would be able to be in their stations on time as well. Try to get to know more about the creatures that live in the aquarium so that you can explain more about them to others. Just enjoy having a great time explaining things to others and stay hydrated.

What I liked
The staff was absolutely amazing! They helped me gain experience in working with and handling wild captive animals. They provided excellent advice and resources as well.
What I wish was different
I wish it could have led to a possible job afterwards.
Advice
Do as much as you can as quickly as you can and always offer to take on more tasks to gain more experience. It's SO beneficial to get your work done in order to explore other possible experiences at the aquarium.

What I liked
At the Aquarium of the Pacific, they give you the chance to develop your skills in public speaking and exposes you to all aspects of education through different shows, volunteering stations, as well as camp opportunities.
