I loved the staff at Aquidneck Land Trust. Everyone was so kind and always willing to lend a helping hand. With this internship you learn a lot about the background of non-profits and how to assist in organizing fundraising events.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been able to hep more or had had more work during my shifts. There was some sitting around but other than that I learned a lot and gained a lot of experience!
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask questions or to get involved with stuff that the staff is working on!
