The Advantage Center provides an excellent opportunity for student employees to grow within the team, which is rather unique when compared to most on-campus positions. In my time with the Advantage Center, I received a promotion, developed my skills and versatility by working with all departments in the office as well as the College community at large.

If looking for an on-campus position, I'd highly encourage asking about advancement opportunities within the position/department. It's made working in this office for all four years of my undergraduate education feel fulfilling, and like I have experienced personal and professional growth during this time.

What I liked
It was great to work with my advisor on this research project. I enjoyed learning about a new subject and meeting the other summer researchers.
What I wish was different
I wish that I would have interacted more with the other researchers, but I just didn’t have a chance to.
Advice
I would recommend that anyone who has an interesting in doing summer research should. It’s a great experience!
