Program Managament Intern

What I liked

I liked that this internship provided me with lots of paid training in addition to assigned projects. I learned more than I thought was possible about resumes, professional writing, effective business communication, presentation techniques, Microsoft Excel, and much more.

What I wish was different

I wish that there had been more time! By the end of the internship period I still wanted to keep working on my final project and continue to learn from the amazing coworkers I was collaborating with.

Advice

I would recommend applying to as many jobs in your field of interest as possible! Not all employers will reach out to you but those who do are genuinely interested - contact them back right away! Also be aware of what you post on your social media and keep your LinkedIn/Handshake profiles up to date, employers do check these.
