Great work atmosphere. Dog-friendly workspace. Everyone is super friendly and they are all willing to help you and give you great experience.

Be proactive in your internship experience. Put yourself out there and don’t be afraid to ask questions.

Public Relations Intern

What I liked

Because it was a start-up, there were quite a few interns and the culture reflected that. Everyone felt friendly with each other and there was a lot of programming to make sure the interns felt welcome and supported. I got to work on projects that excited me and formed my own internship experience.

What I wish was different

I would have stayed longer if I could! I would have tried more recruiting and human resources had I had a longer time there.

Advice

Make sure to work really hard your first week and get some assignments that make you excited. Ask a bunch of questions, even if they are stupid. Go out to lunch instead of eating at your desk.

I loved everything. I had a lot of freedom to do which projects I wanted and they gave me a lot of responsibility so I can really channel my skills.

Advice

Taking initiative and asking questions when you need to are important in helping yourself and making sure the limited time in your internship runs smoothly.
